2009, it seems as if you just arrived and now you’re gone. It was a year of laughs (The Hangover), tears (Precious), and robot deaths (Transformers II: Revenge of the Fallen). 2009 took us to new worlds (Avatar, Star Trek) and allowed us to take a second look at our own world (The Hurt Locker).

Ten For 2010: Our most anticipated movies of the year to come

With a Meet the Fockers sequel, another Shrek film on the way, and a Twilight twiple (couldn’t help myself) coming, you may be begging for something to actually look forward to in 2010. Well, don’t worry, there are at least ten films that aim to please your popcorn palette in the year to come.

We haven't gotten around to talking about soundtracks much around Widescreen Warrior, but they are an unmistakable element of every movie. A film without a soundtrack stands out drastically, usually for an intentional effect. A movie where the score overpowers the visuals is typically imbalanced.
