For the first time in a few weeks, we have new reviews to talk about, with Disney's A Christmas Carol and The Men Who Stare at Goats in theaters. Up is headed for DVD/Blu-ray this week which has us excited.

How much of The Men Who Stare at Goats is real is up for debate. The movie wisely opens with the statement that more of it is based in truth than many of us would believe.

I’m a sucker for post-modern, existential science-fiction. I love the Matrix movies (all three) from a philosophical standpoint, and the ending of 2001 is still one of the most trippy and brilliant moments captured on film in my opinion. But just because I’m a sucker for its content doesn’t mean Moon isn’t one of the most clever and fascinating movies to hit theaters this year.
