For the first time in a few weeks, we have new reviews to talk about, with Disney's A Christmas Carol and The Men Who Stare at Goats in theaters. Up is headed for DVD/Blu-ray this week which has us excited.

If last weekend was a mediocre weekend for releases, this weekend was a tremendous one. Both Rafe and Margaret offer up reviews of Pixar's Up and talk about a bevy of remake and prequel news to hit this week, including Alien, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Tomb Raider, and other fan favorites.

If Pixar’s newest release, Up, had nothing else going for it, you’d have to admit the movie is absolutely gorgeous. Fortunately, we know Pixar refuses to put something together that gets by on looks alone, so the movie is bound to be entertaining and full of delightful characters, as well as being absolutely gorgeous.

It’s no surprise that Pixar’s Up is among one of my most anticipated movies this year. After all, the studio hasn’t had a miss yet, and Up looks to carry on that tradition if the trailers are any indication. Of course, it’s hard to tell if the trailer is any kind of indicator.
