The legendary Robin Hood and his merry men weren't quite enough to take down Marvel's Iron Man 2 at the box office this weekend. We review both of those movies, with a second week spent looking at the comic book sequel.

Margaret and Rafe have some interesting disagreements this week, as the group review Iron Man 2 and compare Walter Matthau's The Taking of Pelham One Two Three with the Tony Scott remake. We also discuss Matthau's Charlie Varrick, discuss the Bond franchise being on hold, and belittle Jeff as frequently as possible.

Two years ago, Iron Man brought another of Marvel Comic’s heroes to the screen with great success. While the metallic hero may not be one passive comic book fans are as familiar with, the movie, powered by Robert Downey Jr., made the flamboyant millionaire turned super hero into a household name.

It's time to take a look at the movies coming out this summer and see what's worth seeing and what we expect to bomb )or at least to be a movie we can avoid in Twilight: Eclipse's case).

Closing Tabs started as a weekly look at news we didn’t cover on the site throughout the week. As the site has grown, however, we’ve moved away from reporting most news (you can catch most of it regurgitated on other sites anyway) in favor of more original opinions and editorials.

If I wasn’t already excited about next year’s Iron Man 2, the new trailer would have done the job. As it is, I was already eagerly anticipating the movie, and this trailer has insured I will be eating up every image, clip, and interview that’s released leading up to the movie’s release.

We’re barely into December and the marketing blitz has begun for what will easily be one of next year’s most anticipated movies. Iron Man 2 has a solid foundation to build upon, with an excellent first chapter. Now it adds the talent of Scarlet Johanssen, Mickey Rourke, Sam Rockwell, and Don Cheadle (replacing Terrence Howard).

We've speculated for quite a while exactly what role Mickey Rourke was going to play in Jon Favreau's Iron Man sequel. The initial character hints seemed to indicate he was going to be Crimson Dynamo, the Russian baddie version of Tony Stark, but that was pretty much cancelled out by Favreau early on. Since then, it's been endless speculation, but nothing was solidly confirmed...

With the new Iron Man 2 set to open in a little over a year, surely marking the start of the 2010 summer season, director Jon Favreau is twittering small details to the masses while trying not to say too much.
